Our Story
Our journey into sound healing began in a Yin Yoga class when the instructor used a singing bowl to focus vibration on Kristen's back in a deep stretch. Her immediate response was "what was THAT, and how do I learn about it?"
As a Reiki Master/Teacher, she was deeply familiar with energetic vibration within and around our physical forms, as well as the practice of energy healing- but this was new, and almost visceral in its impact...and so began her deep dive into Vibrational Healing at the Atma Buti School in Boulder, CO.
The Sound Healing Support Products division of Mirabella Healing Arts was born in 2016 while Kristen was attending training in Boulder. As a surprise, Mark built the first set of extension tables for her in-home practice, and the offering has taken off and developed from there.
Mark is happiest when creating in his woodshop. With a background in furniture manufacturing, he is passionate about designing and creating real physical products that combine unique aesthetics with specific purpose. To be able to combine that desire with the goal of helping to spread the impact of alternative healing - particularly through sound - is a dream come true for both Mark and Kristen.
Our commitment to you
Mirabella Healing Arts strives for the perfect balance between form and function in the products we create. To help in that aim, our products are designed with input and feedback from Certified Sound Healing Practitioners from both Kristen, and other practitioners from around the country.
Each and every piece that we create is hand-crafted with intention in our personal wood shop in Woodinville, Washington, and all are designed with both the practitioner and recipient in mind.
Our main goal is to help enhance and promote the practice of Sound Healing, whether you are an individual with only your first bowl, or a practicing professional with a full studio.
All of our products are intended to help maximize the efficacy of YOUR practice.
Giving Back
A percentage of our sales are donated to Soul Medicine. A 501c3 established in 2019 to fund the Aama Orphanage Foundation in Nepal. Goals of this project include sustainability of the building, animals, and garden for teaching purposes and most of all safety and security for children in need.
